District Map
River Delta Unified School District is located south of Sacramento and West of I-5 in the heart of the Delta Area.
The River Delta Unified School District is a rural area, with over 1000 miles of waterways in the Sacramento River Delta. Although rural, we are close to major metropolitan regions including Sacramento, Stockton, Fairfield, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Lake Tahoe and the High Sierras are within easy driving.
The District's 10 school sites (indicated by *) are located in 5 of the 9 river communities:
- Clarksburg *
- Hood
- Courtland *
- Walnut Grove *
- Ryde
- Locke
- Isleton *
- Rio Vista *
- Birds Landing and Collinsville
The District is in the heart of a great recreational area. There are over 1000 miles of waterways in the Sacramento River Delta. The major industry is agriculture, utilizing some of the richest farm land in the United States to produce pears, tomatoes, grapes and grains.
