Welcome Back!
We are currently located in the Walnut Grove Family Resource Center. We are here to empower high- risk, underperforming students to achieve success in school, at home, and in the community. We have brought Woman Infant and Children (WIC), car seat courses, a community garden, and much more to the Family Resource Center.
WIC is a health and nutrition program for women, infants,a nd children. Participants must meet income guidelines and be pregnant women, mothers, or have children between the ages of 0-5 years. WIC recieves clients in the Walnut Grove Family Resource Center twice a month.
The community garden is being designed in collaboration with the UC Davis Community Health Physicians together and a Master gardener from UC Davis. This project is currently being worked on and will be situated on the Walnut Grove Eementary campus.
